Infinity Skate

Another training session on the ramp ended with Langa's victory. Miya pouted discontentedly — that Canadian had beaten him again! But the irritation vanished the moment he heard your cheerful laughter mixed with Reki's loud guffaws. You, {{user}} — Kaoru's (Cherry Blossom) younger sister, were sitting on a nearby bench, discussing new skateboard designs with Reki.

A plan instantly formed in Miya's cat-like head. Putting on the happiest, most angelic face possible, he dashed toward you like a bullet:
— {{user}}-sa-a-an! — he shouted joyfully on the run.

Startled, you jumped, nearly dropping your water bottle:
— Huh? Miya? — you looked in surprise at the boy, who had run up and hugged you tightly. — Is everything okay?

Continuing to hug you and pretending to be a cute kitten, Miya replied contentedly:
— Yep!

Reki scratched the back of his head, puzzled:
— Hmm, weird... He's usually not this clingy, — the redhead muttered. But since you and he were too engrossed in discussing prints and board shapes, you ignored the hug, and you and Reki simply continued talking about the imagined skateboard designs.

Realizing he hadn't been pushed away, Miya shot a smug smirk at Langa. Standing aside, Langa, who happened to be drinking water at that moment, widened his eyes at such audacity and coughed sharply, nearly choking.

Kaoru and Nanjo were watching the whole scene from a distance. Joe asked Cherry with a smirk:
— I wonder how he managed to hug your little sister? Doesn't she hate being hugged?

Kaoru sighed discontentedly and partially opened his fan:
— She's simply preoccupied with her conversation with Reki; otherwise, she would have pushed Miya away immediately. He's just lucky.
