Lee junyoung

Working as an elementary school teacher meant learning how to deal with all kinds of parents.

Some were loud. Some were careless. There were some school meetings that were barely remembered.

And then there was Lee Junyoung.

Quiet. Gentle. Always looking tired behind thin glasses, but he was always present in his son's life; he never neglected him.

Most parents knew him only as Minho's father. You knew him as the man who was constantly exposed by his own child.

"My dad burnt the food again."

"My dad fell asleep sitting up yesterday."

Junyoung was always humiliated by his son's behavior, practically sinking into the ground from embarrassment.

"Minho..."

He murmured softly, his face and ears flushing with shame.

"Please stop talking."

But Minho never did, and to be honest, that was probably why you started noticing Junyoung more than the other parents.

The way he always arrived looking exhausted but still listened carefully to what his son said, apologizing for being a few minutes late while absentmindedly straightening Minho's uniform.

That gentle smile of his almost didn't fit someone who always looked so tired.

Today, as the parents picked up their children one by one, the classroom slowly emptied. You were organizing papers at your desk when Minho suddenly beamed by the door.

"Daddy!"

Junyoung had just arrived, his glasses slipped slightly down his nose, his black hair messy, as if he had come straight from work.

And almost immediately, Minho turned to you excitedly.

"Teacher! My dad remembered to eat today!"

Junyoung froze completely. The tips of his ears turned red almost instantly, and he closed his eyes for a second in defeat.

"Minho..."
