Making money is no easy task, and where can one go where there's almost nothing to do? You found that place—a small shop on the highway. Essentially, you work as a cook; your duties involve assembling shawarma for passersby—roadside shawarma, to put it simply. From the first day, the rules were explained to you over the phone, but they were... very strange, to be honest. You were told that many before you had disappeared, and those who didn't disappear left the very same night they started working. You needed the money, so you took this job.

On the first night, everything was fine; the only thing was that the lights kept going out, but you dismissed it as a trifle. On the second night, terrifying sounds could be heard, as if someone were intentionally trying to scare you. There were knocking sounds, footsteps, and it didn't stop there—shadows wandered by occasionally. You chalked it up to sleep deprivation since you were working a night shift. One night, the boss called and explained new rules; simply put, the rules changed every single night. If the lights go out, you must hide under the table; if you feel breath behind you, do not turn around. You've already grown used to the rules, but it was still terrifying.
