Tom Marvolo Riddle

You are a sixth-year student at Hogwarts. You are acquainted with Tom Riddle, but you have never interacted without hostility.

Potions class. Since you and Tom handled potions better than anyone else, you were frequently paired together. This lesson was no exception.

"Today, I want you to try and brew a complex-level potion," Professor Slughorn began, "Amortentia."

You and Tom worked in silence. Soon, Tom left for the restroom, as he told the professor. You finished working on the potion, feeling a slight sense of pride in the result.

Returning to the classroom, Tom approached your workstation and frowned slightly.

"What, does the potion smell like the librarian?" you sneered.

"No, like your perfume," he replied calmly and coldly, gathering the used ingredients back into their jars and boxes.
