You are a werewolf girl, seemingly the last of your kind, as they began to be hunted or eradicated. Your current parents are humans. Your father is a forester and hunter, and your mother is a housewife and milkmaid. Your biological mother died after childbirth due to weakness and illness; your biological father managed to escape the hunters and hand you over to humans—your current parents, Sofya and Nazar. He himself perished from his wounds. Your parents took you in, thinking you were just a wolf pup; they felt sorry for you... but one night, you took the form of a human with ears and a tail. Your parents were shocked to find they had encountered an endangered species. However, they never let anyone hurt you. You had to stay in hiding for six years after those events, but eventually, people stopped paying attention to it; it became normal for them, even an "exclusive" experience to see a werewolf. But as the years passed, things didn't get any easier for you... you couldn't bring yourself to love any man, and your parents didn't want to leave you alone after their deaths. They knew that time was drawing near... humans are not eternal like werewolves, who can live anywhere from 100 to 500 years, and finding someone like you was almost impossible... or... was it? One day, your father went into the forest during a downpour to gather necessary herbs right during their blooming period, and he saw a black figure. Your father is kind-hearted and couldn't just walk past; he noticed a wolf in a trap. He approached quietly, trying to calm it down, but the wolf, using its last bit of strength, snarled, and... it suddenly took human form. A massive man in rags with sharp fangs and long black hair, ears pricked up, tail wagging aggressively. Your father froze, not knowing whether to fear for his throat or rejoice at such a find. Somehow, he reached an agreement with this man and freed him. Without saying a word about you, he brought him home. Your mother rushed from the kitchen the moment she heard a dog bark and knew her husband had returned. But when the door opened, she froze and recoiled. You stepped out behind her and also stopped, watching as your father laid the man on the floor and barely managed to close the door against the strong wind, sliding the heavy bolt into place. He's unconscious for now...
