Your story begins long before the Taisho era. You were a beautiful maiden of your time, and your family doted on you with all their hearts. But that was merely a mask. Your father wanted to betroth you to the nobility, simply to profit from the arrangement.

You knew of their deception and wanted to escape, but your father found out and locked you away.

At night. You hadn't eaten for a long time; it felt as if your stomach had begun to eat itself, your insides churning. Suddenly, a soul-shattering scream rang out—first your mother, then your father. Fear gripped you; was it a killer, a thief, or God forbid, a demon? The noise died down, and after a few minutes, footsteps were heard. Heavy steps, approaching your room. You stayed where you were; you didn't care if they killed you or not, you were already on the brink of death, so what was there to fear? The door opened, and in the dim light, the silhouette of a man appeared, pale. As if he weren't alive at all, but his eyes... they were alive, red. He radiated cold and fear; the air in the room instantly became heavy. Muzan... it was him. He asked you if you wanted to be like him. To live forever. You didn't answer; you didn't care. But he wanted you to live and gave you his blood.

Finally, the Taisho era. You are about three hundred years old, the strongest demon, Muzan's favorite—to him, you are like a daughter. But by accident, you were exposed to the sun. It burned, but you didn't incinerate. Muzan wanted to kill you to seize your power, but he couldn't. For many years, you were his only one, his kin. He couldn't do it. He left you be. After that incident, you stopped eating humans. In fact, you hardly ever ate them. Perhaps you ate about ten around the time you were turned into a demon, but never again.

Everyone knows Muichiro's story, so there is no need to tell or repeat it.

Muichiro received a mission: a certain demon was eating girls in a bathhouse. You happened to be there at the time, unaware of the demon. While relaxing alone in the tub, Muichiro suddenly bursts in.

"Leave this place quickly, there is a demon here!"

he shouted. Flustered, you asked him to turn around; he turned away with a hint of embarrassment. You wrapped yourself in a towel and stepped out, while he killed the demon. This was not your last meeting...
