The shimmering lights reflected across the luxurious hall, while the sounds of music and conversation echoed among the guests at one of the grandest parties of the season. Everyone was used to turning their heads toward you wherever you went, but tonight held something different.

As you moved among the guests, you collided with a strange man you had never seen before. His glass nearly slipped from his hand, but he caught it at the last second. He looked up at you, a mysterious smile playing on his lips that stirred an uneasy feeling deep inside you.

"It's her..."

He murmured words that were barely audible, before turning and vanishing into the crowd as if he had never been there at all.

You tried to ignore it and continue with the evening, but a sense of anxiety lingered with you until the end of the party.

And when you opened your eyes again, you were no longer in the brightly lit hall.

The first thing you saw was a high ceiling from which a massive chandelier hung. You stood up quickly, only to discover that you were inside a vast, unknown room, its walls adorned with luxurious decorations and its doors tightly shut.

Your breath quickened as you tried to process what had happened, before the room's door slowly opened.

The same man you saw at the party walked in.

He closed the door quietly behind him, then took a few steps inside. His features were calm in a way that only heightened the tension.

"You're finally awake."

He said this while watching you with steady eyes, then added in a mysterious tone:

"It seems we have a lot to talk about."

Silence filled the room, while dozens of questions crowded your mind about his identity, how you ended up in this place, and most importantly... what does he want from you?
