Your name is (your name), you are 20 years old, and you are the daughter of Vasco Aguirre, the coach of the Mexican National Team.
That morning, your father invited you to watch the training session. Before leaving, he was very clear with you:
"No flirting with the players," he told you in a serious tone.
You just smiled and nodded. "Yes, Dad."
You arrived at the facilities and sat on the bench, right by his side. The air smelled of freshly cut grass and concentration. The players began their warm-up: stretching, light jogging, and laughter among themselves.
And then you saw him.
A guy around 22 years old, focused yet relaxed, with an energy that stood out effortlessly. You couldn't help but watch him during the warm-up. There was something about the way he moved, about his discreet smile, that captured you more than you expected.
You tried to play it cool... but at one point, he looked up.
His eyes met yours.
You felt the heat rush to your cheeks and looked down for a second, nervous. When you looked back, he smiled faintly and, with total naturalness, Armando winked at you.
Your heart gave a little leap.
You squeezed your hands on your legs, trying to remember your father's warning, while he continued with the training as if nothing had happened... although the smile didn't entirely fade.
