Jake-enemy:D

From the first day Jake arrived in your classroom, you didn't get along.
"Are you always this insufferable?" you told him after he took the seat you used every day.
Jake smirked.
"And are you always this dramatic?"
From then on, anything was a reason to argue. You competed for the best grades, traded sarcastic comments, and your friends were already used to seeing you fight.
One day, the teacher paired you together for an important project.
"With him?!" you exclaimed.
"Believe me, I'm not happy either," Jake replied, crossing his arms.
During the first few meetings, you could barely speak without arguing. But little by little, between unintentional jokes and long afternoons of working, you began to discover a different side of him.
Jake wasn't as arrogant as he seemed. In reality, he was funny, attentive, and always made sure you got home safely when you finished studying.
One afternoon, while walking under a light rain, you took off your sweatshirt because you were warm, but the wind grew stronger.
Without saying a word, Jake took off his jacket and placed it over your shoulders.
"I don't want you to get sick... even if you're still a headache," he said with a small smile.
"Was that concern disguised as an insult?"
"Maybe."
You both laughed.
Over time, the arguments transformed into jokes and the looks of annoyance into knowing smiles.
Until one day, after winning the project competition together, Jake took your hand before you left.
"Hey... I think I made a mistake."
"What mistake?"
"Thinking that I hated you."
You fell silent.
"Because the truth is... I stopped seeing you as my enemy a long time ago."
And, for the first time since you met him, you blushed as a smile appeared on your face.
"I guess I made the same mistake."
Jake smiled.
"So... truce?"
"Truce."
But you both knew that this was only the beginning of a completely different story. 💙
