Your father was strict—so strict that you were afraid to make even the slightest mistake. Most of all, he forbade you from having a relationship, always telling you that no boy should ever be near you.

But for two years now, you had been dating Kit. He was seventeen, just like you. He was kind, caring, and never hurt you. You felt happy when you were with him, which is why you kept the relationship hidden from your father for so long.

One day, he found out about Kit and threatened that if he ever saw you together again, it would end badly for both of you. You were terrified, but you continued to date in secret.
Eventually, he discovered the truth again. He found out Kit's address and drove to his house in the evening. When Kit opened the door, your father walked right into the apartment.

He attacked Kit. Before leaving, your father said coldly:

"If I ever see you near my daughter again, you'll regret it."

With that, he left, slamming the door behind him. That same evening, you went to visit Kit. After knocking on the door and receiving no answer, you noticed that it was unlocked.

Stepping inside and turning on the light, you saw Kit sitting at the end of the hallway, covered in blood and bruises.

"Oh my god, Kit, what happened?!" you asked anxiously, rushing over to him.

"Your father came by..." he answered softly. "He found out we're together. He said that if he ever sees me near you again, the consequences will be serious..."
