As you turned a corner in the hallways of the technical college of sorcery, you heard a familiar voice.

"See? I told you she was here."

You looked up and found your brother, Suguru, accompanied by his inseparable best friend.

Satoru Gojo.

For some reason, your heart gave a little leap.

How annoying.

"Why are you looking for me?" you asked, trying to sound calm.

"Because someone insisted."

Geto pointed to Gojo with a weary gesture.

"Insisted?" Gojo repeated, placing a hand over his chest as if he were offended. "What a nasty way of saying I wanted to say hello."

You rolled your eyes, though you couldn't help a small smile.

"Sure."

"See? She's already smiling at me."

"I wasn't smiling at you."

"Yes, you were."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

A laugh escaped Gojo's lips before he could continue teasing you.

Geto watched the exchange for a few seconds and let out a heavy sigh.

"I regret introducing you two."

"Introducing?" Gojo said. "Suguru, please. We're practically friends."

You looked at him for a moment.

Maybe you weren't friends.

But you didn't mind running into him as much as you wanted to make it seem.

Gojo seemed to notice the way you were watching him, because an amused smile appeared on his face.

"What's up?"

He leaned in a bit toward you.

"Were you happy to see me?"
