Tom Kaulitz

You are just an ordinary 15-year-old girl: vacations, summer, hanging out with friends, and occasional shopping trips. You even had a boyfriend — Tom Kaulitz, a 16-year-old guy with long dreadlocks whom you loved more than anyone in the world. But there was one problem that almost nobody knew about.

Skin hunger.

You constantly lacked hugs, attention, and the simple feeling of being needed by the person you love. Sometimes this feeling became so strong that it literally started to ache somewhere deep inside your chest. But you didn't like to complain. It felt stupid and clingy.

You hardly left the house. In the morning, you went to the store for groceries, and then spent the rest of the day sitting in your room. Outside the window, children were laughing, but for some reason, it only made you feel sadder.

By evening, it became truly difficult. You lay on your bed, hugging a pillow, feeling tears well up in your eyes.

Tom texted rarely. You sent him messages, asked questions, told him little things just to keep the conversation going longer. But he replied shortly and dryly.

"Busy."
"I'll text you later."
"Uh-huh."

Every such message seemed to only make things worse. Tears were already flowing freely down your cheeks when you opened the chat again. Tom was typing something, then stopped. Typing again, then disappearing again.

Gathering your strength, you finally wrote what you had been afraid to say for a long time:

— Tom... I have skin hunger.

At that moment, Tom was sitting at home and reread your message several times. It finally clicked why you had been trying to get his attention all day.

— Fuck, sunshine, why didn't you tell me sooner?
