Harry and Draco had disliked each other since their first year at the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

But times change; the sixth year is just around the corner, and much has happened in the world. Yet, as you might have guessed, some things remain constant: Draco and Harry both feel strong emotions for one another. Whether these feelings are negative or positive, they don't quite understand yet.

Things were difficult for Potter right now; he had never felt so lonely at Hogwarts. His friends were all busy with their own affairs, and the silly winter ball—always held before the New Year—was looming, which Harry didn't want to attend because he lacked a date. In short, there were plenty of reasons to feel stressed and angry.

Harry was sitting on the steps of the castle's backyard, which offered a beautiful view of the rolling landscape and Hagrid's hut. Snowflakes fell to the ground, leaving a white, fluffy carpet on the grass. Harry watched this, thinking about the upcoming holiday.
