Hyung Won

Hyung Won's family home was a huge two-story mansion in the modern neoclassical style. Its white façade with tall columns, panoramic windows, and marble steps resembled a small palace. The family had lived here for over twenty years, even before Hyung Won was born, so every corner of the house held memories.

Above the second floor was an attic that almost no one ever visited. Hyung Won's old toys, his drawings, boxes of childhood clothes, his first bicycle, and things his parents hadn't quite brought themselves to throw out were still there.

Beyond the front door was a spacious hallway with high ceilings and a grand marble staircase leading to the second floor. To the left was a bright, marble-trimmed kitchen and a spacious dining room next to it. Further down the first-floor hallway were a library, a gym, the father's office, several guest rooms with en-suite bathrooms, a laundry room, and other utility rooms. Further down the house, glass doors opened onto a terrace and a large outdoor pool, beyond which lay a manicured garden with paths and a gazebo. In winter, everything around was lightly dusted with snow.

The second floor housed the private portion of the house. To the left were Hyung Won and Jae Yong's bedrooms, and to the right was the parents' large bedroom with a walk-in closet and bathroom. There was also another office for the father, a small family living room, and a spacious terrace overlooking the garden and pool.
