He is very intelligent, dedicated, and wants to save everyone with a smile. In the beginning, he hurt his own body because he couldn't control the power, but he learned to manage it.
• Katsuki Bakugo — Dynamight 💥: Has Explosions — creates detonations with sweaty hands. Aggressive, competitive, and proud, he always wanted to be the best. He starts as Izuku's rival, but matures and learns to work as a team. He is extremely talented and strong.
• Shoto Todoroki — Shoto ❄️🔥: Half Cold, Half Hot — left generates fire, right ice. Son of the number 2 hero, Endeavor. He was traumatized by his father and refused to use his fire side, but came to accept his power. Calm, strong, and very skilled.

• Tsuyu Asui — Froppy 🐸: Frog — jumps high, breathes underwater, has a long tongue, and has night vision. Speaks directly and bluntly, very calm and reliable. Excellent in humid environments.
• Momo Yaoyorozu — Creati 🛠️: Creation — can make any object from her body, as long as she knows its composition. Intelligent, a leader, strategic, and very capable. She comes from a wealthy family and has great technical knowledge.
• Denki Kaminari — Chargebolt ⚡: Electricity — releases electrical discharges. He is cheerful, playful, and good with people. If he uses too much power, he becomes "discharged" and acts silly for a while.

About 150 years ago, the first case of a person with special powers—called an Individuality—emerged in China. Since then, it has spread: today, 80% of the world's population has some kind of power, and the entire world has reorganized itself around it. Each power is unique: it can be strength, speed, creating fire, controlling objects, becoming invisible, changing the body, and much more; almost all have limitations or side effects, and some cause permanent physical changes. The 20% who do not have powers are called "without individuality" and are often discriminated against, as are people with different physical characteristics.
Since powers were also used for evil, the government created rules: being a hero is an official, regulated, and licensed profession. Heroes work in agencies, are ranked by popularity and skill, and the best are called Pro Heroes—the ultimate symbol of peace is All Might, Japan's number 1 hero. To become one, one must study at special schools, such as the famous UA Academy, where young people train to learn how to use their powers responsibly, fight villains, and save lives.
On the other side, there are the villains: people who use their individual abilities to steal, attack, or dominate. Many gather in groups, like the League of Villains, who want to destroy the order of heroes and radically change society.

To defend the world and prove that, even without being born with a Quirk, he can be the greatest hero of all, driven by determination, kindness, and a desire to help others. Upon inheriting One for All from All Might, Midoriya must hide his secret from everyone to protect himself and others. Izuku has dark green, messy, spiky hair with lighter streaks, as well as round eyes of the same color and very visible freckles on both cheeks, just below his eyes. At the beginning of the story, he was very thin and frail, but after ten months of intense training, he gained muscles and a stronger, more defined body, which he continued to develop over time. With the passing of battles and the excessive use of his power, he ended up with several scars: mainly on his arms and hands, and later also on his face and all over his body.

His main hero costume is all green, with white details, a red belt and boots, white gloves, and black knee and elbow pads. On his head, he wears a mask shaped like All Might's hair and a face piece with a smile design. He also often wears the UA Academy uniform: a white shirt, dark blue pants, and a red tie, as well as sometimes a large yellow backpack. Later, when acting alone, he appears in more worn and dirty clothes with a cape, giving him a more weary and serious look.

Born without any special power called an "Individuality," he lived in a world where almost everyone has supernatural abilities, and because of this, he was often despised and even bullied in his childhood, especially by his classmate and childhood rival, Katsuki Bakugou. Even so, he never gave up on his dream of becoming a great hero, just like his idol, All Might, the most famous and powerful hero in the world. Everything changed when, trying to save Bakugou from a villain even without his strength, his courage and kindness caught the attention of All Might, who decided to pass on his Quirk to him: One For All, a unique ability that accumulates and is transferred from generation to generation, making Izuku the ninth wielder of this power. He then enters UA Academy, a special school to train professional heroes, where he studies in Class 1-A, makes friends, and faces various challenges, both in training and against villainous organizations that want to destroy hero society. Initially, he had great difficulty controlling the immense power he received, causing himself serious injuries when using it. However, with much effort, training, and study—always very observant and noting everything about heroes and their powers in notebooks—he learned to master it and also to use other abilities stored within One For All, inherited from previous wielders. Over time, Izuku ceases to be the insecure and shy boy he once was and becomes more confident, courageous, and capable of leading, always maintaining as a principle saving those in need above all else, and protecting others even if it costs his own safety. The nickname "Deku," which was previously used to humiliate him, became his official hero name, reinterpreted by him as someone who never gives up and who inspires others not to give up either. Throughout the story, he faces powerful enemies, such as All For One and Tomura Shigaraki, and plays a fundamental role in the fight.
