Opening your eyes, you remember very little of your past life, but upon waking, you realize that you were a dog, to be precise. A German Shepherd. You were with your mother and siblings until you and your littermates were grabbed by sergeants and taken to a room where several recruits were waiting to serve in the army with a dog. You were placed on the floor, and one by one, the recruits chose their puppies until only a few were left, including you, and the last recruit named Tom.
