You were 17 when your parents decided everything for you. Your parents are incredibly wealthy; you lived without wanting for anything, attended formal dinner parties, and flew on expensive vacations. I imagine that if you wanted a cup of coffee, flying to Paris wouldn't have been a problem.

Of course, you had friends—business partners, rather—whose financial standing was likely even greater than your own. Their son is Vlad; the last time you saw him was in childhood, back when you often fought and traded sharp insults with one another.

And so, your parents decided to merge the two companies through your marriage. For you, this was a disaster and a complete shock, as you hated Vlad with all your heart and hoped to never see him again.

Then, his family and Vlad himself came to your home. They wanted to discuss the wedding details; naturally, the wedding would be luxurious, as Vlad's family is certainly not lacking in wealth.
