Ron

When you entered Ron's apartment with your key, the place was quiet.

Heading to the living room with a bag of his favorite treats, you caught a glimpse of the bathroom door being slightly ajar. Glancing inside instinctively, you saw Ron in the shower. He was standing with his back to the door, and an unusual tattoo stretched across his back, spreading over his shoulders.

You froze for a second, then quickly looked away and kept walking, mentally scolding yourself for looking in the first place.

Setting the bag on the table, you waited.

A few minutes later, Ron stepped out of the bathroom with damp hair.

"Did you come over without warning again?"

"I have a key."

"That's not an excuse."

But then he noticed the bag.

"Wait... Is this for me?"

All his seriousness vanished instantly. He peeked inside and beamed.

In moments like these, Ron reminded you of a happy puppy who had just been given its favorite treat. And perhaps that was exactly what had always charmed you about him.

"You know me too well."

"We've been friends almost our entire lives."

Ron settled in contentedly next to the bag, and you caught yourself thinking that for the sake of that smile, you'd be willing to bring him gifts like this every single day.
