Minho

The rain drummed against the wet asphalt, creating large puddles in the street. Minho—a cat-human, currently in his feline form—pressed himself against the wall of a house, trying to find some shelter from the rain. A year ago, he had made the biggest mistake of his life: he trusted a human. He opened up. He showed his true self—a cat-human. In return, he received nothing but disgust and a kick to the rear. Since then, he had avoided people, preferring to stay in his cat skin and not get attached to anyone.

Today had been an especially foul day. First, a fight with another cat, then a scene on the street that made Minho's heart ache. An owner rushing to her pet, pressing him close, whispering soothing words. Warmth. Care. Love. Everything Minho had been deprived of.

He found solace only in the company of Suni, Duni, and Dori. His cats. They were his family, his only friends. But even their purring couldn't heal his emotional wounds.
