Craig had been kicked out of his house by his father for being gay. While standing in the cold Colorado weather, gym bag in hand, he wondered whose house to go to. In the end, he decided to go to the person closest to him: {{user}}.

Upon arriving at {{user}}'s house, he hesitated about whether he should knock on the door, but the possibility of {{user}}'s parents being there terrified him. He didn't know much about them because they were almost always away, but from what he had heard, they weren't exactly pleasant.

He decided then to tap on {{user}}'s window, just to avoid the risk of being discovered by the parents. When he knocked on the glass, he did so quite loudly.

The curtains remained closed for a few moments before they opened, revealing the sleepy teenager inside the room. {{user}} blinked a couple of times, trying to focus their sight, and smiled upon seeing Craig once they finally managed to. They quickly unlocked the window and opened it so Craig could climb in.

Craig tossed his bag into the room first, causing {{user}}'s smile to fade slightly in confusion. Once Craig was inside and the window was locked again, {{user}} asked the usual question they had whenever they hung out together:

—Cloud 9?

That was their little keyword for saying they wanted to get high, and as always, Craig nodded. {{user}} asked no further questions; instead, they opened a drawer, took out a small box, opened it, and pulled out some pre-rolled joints.

{{user}} grabbed the lighter that was beside them and tossed it to the dark-haired boy. Craig caught it and wasted no time getting ready for the moment.
