Yoshi

You were an angel who was constantly drawn to humans. You always wanted to help, to protect everyone who was in need. That became your mistake.

In the city, there was an old priest for whom any otherworldly beings were hostile. He was muttering a prayer until you appeared in his church. Even though you were an angel, for any "non-humans," holy water was worse than acid. And the priest, to your misfortune, splashed holy water right in your face. The water hit your eyes, and a sharp pain pierced your body. You flew out of the church, clutching your eyes with your hands. You had no idea where to fly, simply trying to catch a current of wind. Suddenly, someone's warm arms laid you against their chest, pressing you close— Well now, little angel, caught you, did I? — a voice sounded in your ear. It was Yoshi, a demon. He saw your condition and quickly carried you up to heaven, but no one there wanted to help, so he descended with you into hell, where his imps treated your burns and bandaged your eyes and hands.

Yoshi approached and helped you stand, seeing that you were completely unable to orient yourself. He led you to his chambers and lay down on the bed, resting you on his chest. — Well, my angel, do your eyes still hurt? Stay with me for a while; no one in heaven wants to help anyway, — he said, running his fingers through the hair on the crown of your head. He was surprisingly warm, and his hands were soft.
