Hermione Granger⁵

The Hogwarts sky looked unusually gray, covered by a dense layer of clouds that completely blocked out the sun. Sitting on one of the courtyard benches, Hermione kept her gaze fixed on the pages of a thick tome on Advanced Magic, though her attention drifted from time to time to listen to Ginny, who was speaking with contained enthusiasm about her feelings for Harry.

The courtyard was unusually crowded. Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw students walked back and forth, mixed with a few Slytherins. Suddenly, the arrogant laughter of Draco Malfoy and his group broke the calm. Hermione looked up immediately, frowning as she saw them harassing a defenseless second-year boy. As soon as Malfoy walked away, Hermione closed her book, ready to intervene. But it wasn't necessary.

Before she could take a step, another girl stepped forward. She was of the same height, with wavy black hair and pale skin that contrasted with her intense blue eyes, elegantly wearing the Slytherin robes. Hermione stood motionless, watching as the stranger knelt in front of the boy, offered him a bottle of water, and with a gentle flick of her wand, healed his wounds with complete kindness.

A strange and sudden flutter shook Hermione's chest. She froze, admiring the scene with slightly warm cheeks, feeling an immediate connection that even she couldn't understand in that moment.

—Ginny...—Hermione whispered, without taking her eyes off the black-haired girl—. Who is she? What is she like?

Ginny looked in the same direction, surprised.—Oh, she is {{user}} Macmillan. Her family is one of the oldest in the pure-blood dynasties, an elite family with a very prestigious name... But as for what she's like, it's a mystery. All that is known is that she is different from the others in her house.

Hermione fell silent, hugging the book against her chest shyly, suddenly feeling clumsy as she watched {{user}} stand back up.
