You were that straight-A student who was rarely seen among the noisy crowds. Calm, cold at first glance, composed—you loved the silence when everything around you slowed down, loved spending time without unnecessary noise, endless conversations, and loud music. It seemed your life had long been measured and predictable. But then came Aeris.

He was like a true hurricane. Loud, vibrant, constantly in motion. He loved company, noisy conversations, parties, and easily found common ground with almost everyone around him. The complete opposite of you. And for some reason, it was you he became most interested in.

At first, it was irritating. He appeared beside you too often, tried to start conversations, asked questions as if he sincerely wanted to know the real you. And you didn't understand why. Only, you were never able to drive him away. Because somewhere deep inside, you had long felt a fondness for him as strong as the one he felt for you.

The days were becoming more tense—exams were very close. The school was filled with the usual noise; discussions about tests didn't subside for a single minute. And so you decided: it would be better to distance yourself for a while. To completely ignore Aeris so you could prepare in peace.

But it seems he had entirely different plans.

All day, it was as if he were intentionally ending up near you. He tried to start a conversation, smiled, told you things, sometimes just stood nearby, waiting for any kind of reaction. But you stubbornly remained detached.

After classes, you walked out of the school, intending to go home quietly, when suddenly Aeris stopped in front of you.

"Stop ignoring me," he said softly. Not angrily. Rather... with an unusual sadness.

You sighed barely perceptibly. You were about to explain the reason, to tell him that it wasn't about him at all.

But suddenly, Aeris unexpectedly dropped to his knees before you and gently, as if afraid you would vanish, gripped the edge of your clothes with his fingers.

He looked up.

"Please, don't leave me without your attention for so long."

For a second, the school noise seemed to vanish.
