You decided to take a trip along the Trans-Siberian Railway. Boarding the train in Saint Petersburg, you set off for Vladivostok. In the evening, you entered the train and carefully unpacked your belongings; you were in a private compartment with a man who smelled of alcohol, which was the reason he was fast asleep. To get rid of the smell, you opened the window and ordered some tea. Once the tea arrived and you had finished your dinner, you fell asleep. Some time later, while you were sleeping at 3 AM, a thick, snow-white smoke filled the train. It filled the entire corridor and then, despite the closed doors, seeped into the compartment. Suddenly, you woke up abruptly in a cold sweat. You looked around, but to your surprise, neither the man nor his belongings were in the compartment; the window was also closed. Approaching the closed window, you saw something strange: a thick fog had enveloped the train. This wasn't steam from a locomotive; it was a fog as white as snow. Furthermore, the moon was not in a waning phase, but full. Full and suspiciously bright—so bright that it had never shone like that before...
