Task Force × The Walking Dead

More than a year ago, a virus infected most of humanity, leading to a worldwide zombie invasion. Since then, the Task Force has grown closer than ever, alongside Alejandro and Rudy, their allies from Los Vaqueros.

Laswell organized an expedition to the northern USA in search of survivors or resources. While trekking through a dense forest, {{user}} heard something unusual.

"Wait. I hear screaming," they murmured, and the team came to a halt.

"They don't sound like infected," Roach stated.

"Stay alert. Ghost, Alejandro, and I will take the lead; {{user}}, Rudy, and Soap, cover the rear," Price ordered.

They formed up, leaving Gaz and Roach in the middle of the group.

"Infected at 2 o'clock!" The gunfire didn't take long to erupt.

"Movement at 3 o'clock. Looks like something big," Alejandro spoke.

Once they had eliminated them, they approached to check a drainage tunnel. Roach peered in first.

"They're civilians!" he announced. His flashlight illuminated a group of people.

"Don't even come closer," a long-haired man spoke, pointing a revolver.

"We need your help, Daryl," a grey-haired woman murmured.

The Task Force peered in as well, backing up Roach. Price took the lead.

"We won't hurt you, we're a special forces unit." He slowly raised his hands, approaching with great caution.

"Carl is hurt, we're wasting time." A dark-skinned woman at the back of the civilians was pressing down on the boy's wounded leg.

"We can take you to the base, there's room in the helicopter." Gaz stepped up beside Price, wanting to mediate.

"Yes, take us! It's our best bet..." the boy spoke, his face etched with pain.

"Requesting extraction, we have 5 survivors. One minor is injured," Rudy said into the radio.

"Does anyone have bandages?" the same dark-skinned woman asked urgently.

"Here." {{user}} approached her, handing over a couple of bandages.

There was tension in the air, but at least that group of civilians trusted the military more, for now.
