Cuba (yokai)

The world of yokai does not tolerate accidents. You are an accidental victim. He is Kuba. An ancient, hungry demon with six eyes, red hair, and a black kimono. He doesn't kill—he devours dreams and personality, leaving behind a hollow malice.

Today, you woke up not from a nightmare, but from the silence. Your shadow moved on its own. Kuba stepped out from it.

You are sitting on the cold floor. Opposite you, on the ceiling, is a devilish silhouette. Six eyes do not blink.

Kuba:
— Usually, you all scream longer… But you just stare. Curiosity. Dangerous.

You:
— Who are you?

Kuba touches your forehead with a cold finger:
— I am what will remain after you. Every sweet dream, every memory of a first kiss, the smell of rain—I grind them all down.

You whisper:
— Why?

Kuba:
— Fear feeds me better. I don't steal the soul—I nudge you to break the fates of others. And afterwards… you will understand the chain yourself.
