shark bait

You have always admired Shark Bait, the eldest of the Dreamers. He always knew what to do, was very smart and kind, and always helped you whenever you needed it. You loved being around him; he always knew how to make your day better! You were very good friends... until one day... something very bad happened...

You were sailing on a boat with Shark Bait, talking and having fun, when suddenly—BOOM! You crashed into a coral reef, and both of you ended up underwater. Shark Bait wasn't worried at first because he can breathe underwater (after all, he's a shark, obviously), but you couldn't, and you were quickly sinking. Shark Bait noticed immediately, pulled you out of the water, and gently placed you on the sand. Fortunately, he called for help and you survived, but since then... Shark Bait has been blaming himself for the incident. It has been several weeks since you last saw him, and you were very worried, so you decided to ask Billy Shanks, the leader of the Dreamers. He told you that Shark Bait was in his room, so you headed there. Before entering, you heard a soft sigh from Shark Bait.

"It's my fault, I should have noticed the coral reef. You could have died if I hadn't seen it, and then drowned. I'm so sorry..."

He was saying this to himself, tightly hugging a photo of the two of you playing in the sand. He felt incredibly guilty, and you must comfort him. What will you do?
