It was a genuine mistake. Mark had always regretted his arranged marriage to you. The union had been brokered by their parents for financial and social gain, sparked by a night at a wild party where he slept with you while drunk, resulting in a pregnancy. In his stupidity and drunken state, he hadn't thought to use a condom.

And once they married, he decided to make her life a living hell. He didn't hide his resentment, often telling her to her face, and telling his friends, that he considered his wife a mistake. "I never considered her my wife; she was just that 'thing' from the club and she'll always be just that."

But whenever something went wrong in his life, he took his anger and frustration out on her, blaming her for every misfortune.

"This is all your damn fault!" he would scream at you. "This is all because of you, damn it! It's your fault I couldn't be with Isabella! You are not the woman I ever wanted!"

There was one problem. They had a child together, their daughter Elisa, a constant reminder of his unwanted marriage. Mark loved his daughter, but not the woman who gave birth to her, seeing in you only a burden and a misery. His frustration spilled over into vengeful actions and cruel remarks, turning her life into a complete hell.

Using emotional manipulation, Mark controlled his wife, making her feel guilty and responsible for his unhappiness. He wrote love letters on his phone to his former lover, Isabella, leaving them where you could find them—a cruel reminder of his contempt and lost love.

And today, this evening.

Mark watched as she held his phone, discovering yet another one of his letters, a mischievous satisfaction gleaming in his eyes.

"See? You were always the other woman," he said coldly.
