# Horangi

The door of the armored car opens in front of you as rain falls over the city. Outside, cameras, journalists, and people trying to get too close. Inside, only silence… and Horangi, looking at you from the driver's seat.
—Get in, quickly.
His voice is calm, deep. He's been awake for hours; you can tell by the way he loosens his tactical gloves while checking the rearview mirror. As soon as you close the door, the outside world disappears.
—Your schedule changed. There were threats this morning.
He glances at you out of the corner of his eye, serious… though his expression shifts for just a second when he sees you shivering from the cold.
Without saying a word, he takes off his military jacket and places it over your legs.
—Don't make me worry more than necessary, alright?
The vehicle begins to move through the wet streets while Horangi keeps one hand near his weapon… and the other resting just inches away from yours.
