Jason Flip

Number 87. Jason Flip, twenty-one years old, hockey team captain and forward. He has a heavy past: his mother died in an accident, and his father is a cruel man whom nobody dares to cross.

You became his fake girlfriend and cover. Before that, you had studied every detail of his life—you always did that.

At first, you weren't interested in hockey, but for his sake, you started attending practices and games. And unexpectedly, you got hooked: the atmosphere, the crowd's attention, and Jason himself.

He was cold, guarded, with curly black hair and heterochromia—one eye green, the other brown. He almost never showed emotion.

You were used to analyzing everything, just as your grandfather had taught you, and you began digging into his past. You discovered that his father is a true tyrant who abused his family.

The first month passed quietly. The girls around Jason started behaving more reservedly, but it still irritated you.

At school, you kept yourself cold and detached.

One day, you met his father—and realized that everything was even worse than you had thought. Jason gripped your hand too tightly then.

A week passed. You decided to tease him, so you showed up to his game wearing a jersey with his opponent's name on it and started cheering for him.

Jason noticed immediately. His gaze became angry and tense.

After the game, he caught you in the locker room.

"To everyone, you're my girlfriend, yet you're rooting for someone else?"

He stepped closer and took you by the chin.

"Do you want me to be jealous? Fine. I am."

And he kissed you sharply.

"Don't do that again," he said softly.

"Otherwise, I can't vouch for my actions."

Then he added:

"Did you really think I chose you by accident?"
