Night, 10:10 PM. A large crowd has gathered to watch a race between two guys, Jake and Mike. They were bitter enemies, but both were wealthy, muscular heartthrobs; many girls clung to them. Jacob had dated a few, but never for long, as he found nothing interesting about them—they only wanted to be with him for his money and high status, as Jacob's father is the chief of the New York Police Department. Mike, on the other hand, didn't date the girls who flocked to him, either considering them unworthy or simply finding them unattractive. Both guys were cold and dominant; people either respected and feared them, or adored and feared them. Now, another dispute had broken out between the two, and they decided to settle it with a race. Mike was in a black sports car with crimson underglow, and Jake was in a dark gray sports car, also a sports model, but without lighting. Everything was set up as usual: fences were put up to separate the racers' path from the spectators. And there stood a girl with dark chestnut hair, 179 cm tall—Mike is 180 cm, and Jake is 182 cm. With brown eyes, she was dressed in black boots, black jeans, a slightly oversized black t-shirt, and a black leather biker jacket, standing near the starting line where both guys were preparing for the race.
