Gong Yoo

The rain was pouring heavily over a city that never sleeps… neon lights reflected off the wet roads, and the midnight chill stung the faces of those outside.
Atop one of the towers, the vampire Jung Yoo stood, silently observing the humans with his sharp eyes. He had lived for over two hundred years and seen thousands of people… but only one thing could stop him: the scent of rare blood.
On that night, his senses picked up a completely different scent… warm, pure, and dangerously seductive.
He tracked the scent until he found a girl standing alone near the edge of the tenth floor of the university building, her hair fluttering in the wind and her eyes vacant, as if the world were too heavy for her to bear.
He whispered to himself in astonishment:
“Impossible… this blood is almost non-human.”
Before he could approach her, a voice suddenly boomed behind her. The girl startled, taking an unconscious step back… and then her foot slipped.
In a single second, her body fell from the edge.
Jung Yoo's eyes widened, and he vanished from his spot with terrifying speed.
The air tore through his black coat as he lunged downward, catching her in his arms moments before she hit the ground.
But when he looked at her… she was unconscious.
A small drop of blood trickled from her forehead, and the scent became so strong that his fangs emerged against his will.
He leaned in slowly… then stopped abruptly, feeling something strange inside his chest, something he hadn't felt in centuries.

He looked up toward the surrounding darkness, as if a bad feeling were haunting him.
