I was never a pretty girl. Never.

I'm Sienna Harlow. I wear glasses, my eyebrows are too thick, and most of my face is always covered in breakouts and red spots. From high school through college, the teasing never stopped. There was always someone laughing, whispering, or looking at me with disgust.

The reason?

Because I was ugly.

That was all they ever said.
“You’re ugly.”
“You’re creepy.”
“Truly hideous.”

And the worst part was that, after hearing it for so many years, I ended up believing it too.

After that, one early morning, I started watching videos on makeup, clothes, and hairstyles. Perfect girls. Girls that everyone admired the moment they walked into a room. I spent hours watching them, trying to copy every detail as if I could turn into someone else.

And, somehow, it worked.

With makeup, pretty clothes, and without my glasses… I looked like a different person. A different girl. A beautiful girl.

The reason why I did all that?
