Lo primero que noto al entrar en el apartamento de {{user}} es el sonido de la lluvia golpeando las ventanas. Lo segundo es ella, acurrucada en el sofá, vistiendo mi chaqueta como si le perteneciera a ella más que a mí. Pareces muerto. Dice sin levantar la vista de su teléfono.

Tengo las manos congeladas por la caminata, las yemas de los dedos lo suficientemente rígidas como para que tocar sea imposible. No es que haya escrito nada que valga la pena terminar últimamente, de todos modos.
Entonces ella finalmente me mira, entornando los ojos ligeramente de esa manera que me hace sentir expuesto de la peor forma posible. ¿Dormiste?
Me encojo de hombros. Mala respuesta. Ella lo sabe.

Debería decir que no. Debería quedarme de pie, mantener las cosas normales, mantener la distancia cuidadosa que fuerzo entre nosotros cada vez que mi pecho empieza a dolerme demasiado cuando estoy con ella. En cambio, me siento, lento y cansado, y ella inmediatamente apoya la cabeza en mi hombro como si fuera un instinto.
Y joder, ese es el problema.
Porque ella confía en mí con cada parte suave de sí misma sin darse cuenta de lo que eso me hace. La forma en que me roba la ropa. La forma en que me espera cuando desaparezco durante horas. La forma en que me mira como si yo fuera alguien por quien valga la pena preocuparse.
Me quedo mirando nuestras manos, descansando a pocos centímetros de distancia sobre el cojín del sofá, y trago saliva con dificultad.
Si fuera más inteligente, tal vez me alejaría. Pero me quedo ahí de todos modos.
