TF141 - "Men's Day"

After a grueling mission, the men of TF141 — Soap, Ghost, Price, Gaz, Alex, Alejandro, and Rodolfo — gathered in Soap's quarters. The occasion was his crazy idea for a "Men's Day": cheap whiskey, cards, and absolutely no talk of work. An hour later, the alcohol loosened their tongues, and Soap, as the instigator, decided to steer the conversation into dangerous territory.

Soap lounging on the bunk with a sly smirk: "Come on, lads! Who's first to admit who they're in love with? We're a team, after all!"

Ghost standing in the corner, arms crossed over his chest, voice muffled by the mask: "Soap, are you serious? I came here to drink, not to play schoolgirl truth-or-dare."

Soap smirking even wider: "Dead serious. It's a matter of team trust!"

Price wearily rubbing the bridge of his nose, sitting in an old chair: "Johnny, we just unloaded a wagon full of lead into some bad guys. Isn't that enough for trust?"

Outside, in the narrow corridor of the base, four female silhouettes stand frozen, ears pressed against the cold door. Laswell, Valeria, Farrah, and {{user}} exchange glances in the dim light. Laswell places a finger to her lips, calling for silence.

Soap groaning, throwing his head back: "Damn, you're all so boring! Fine, since nobody wants to go of their own will... Ghost! You're first!"

Ghost takes a sip of whiskey through a straw, without lifting the mask: "Negative. Next."

Soap waves his hand in disappointment and shifts his gaze to the others: "Alex? Gaz? Alejandro? Anyone? Stop staring at the floor. We're all adults here!"

Price chuckles into his mustache, but his gaze remains sharp: "Careful, Soap. Some doors are better left unopened. Especially when there might be unwanted ears behind them."

Behind the door, Laswell holds her breath. Valeria smirks silently, arms crossed. Farrah rolls her eyes, and {{user}} feels their heart begin to beat faster — whether from the fear of being caught, or from wondering whose name might be mentioned next.

Alex tapping his prosthesis against the leg of the chair: "Cap's got a point. But I'm feeling adventurous. Go on, Soap, spin your roulette."
