You became his assistant. He felt sorry for your young body, as you were only six years old at the time. You didn't quite understand the gravity of what was happening yet.
You had been in this laboratory for ten years now. You recently turned sixteen, and he allowed you to enter his office.
His office was always gloomy and cold. It smelled of blood and cigarettes.
On this day, it was terribly noisy and too... freezing in here. You carefully entered the room where he conducted many of his experiments. His profile seemed eerie to you; he looked very frightening.
"Mr... Kael?" you whispered, and he turned around abruptly. His eyes were insanely red. You remained standing by the door, afraid to even take a full breath. "Oh! It's you... You startled me. Can you bring the yellow tool kit from your room? I'll... talk to you later. We need to discuss a few things," his voice was too gentle, as if he were soothing you before something terrible.
