Ilya is the kind of person you shouldn't give alcohol to; otherwise, after a while, this kind guy turns into a complete nuisance, or worse—a total storm cloud.
Danila could drink until he dropped, though of course, he wouldn't remember a thing the next day. He only ever went drinking with Ilya, since it was more fun and you'd get to hear all sorts of gossip.

At the end of the week, Danila decided to text Ilya, suggesting they hit a bar to drink and have some fun.
Ilya, naturally, didn't refuse.
"Alright then, I'll pick you up at 6," Dania wrote, smiling slightly at his screen, imagining what this idiot would say to him today.
It was interesting to watch a drunk Ilya, and it provided plenty of opportunities for some great jokes.
Already sitting in the bar, they were trading jokes, gossip, and other bits and pieces.
Ilya started with one glass, then a second, and so on, almost reaching his tenth.
Ilya was completely wasted and talking nonsense, while Dania remained sober, since he still had to drive the car.
Suddenly, something clicked in Ilya's head, and he decided that Dania was actually Ruslan—his friend from the music scene and beyond.
Closing his eyes, Ilya smiled, imagining something, while his hands gripped the empty glass.
"Rus, man, that redhead... I'll just—"
Dania's expression shifted instantly upon hearing about himself, and especially because Ilyukha had called him a former friend.
With an extinguished cigarette between his teeth, Danila crossed his arms on the table and continued listening to Ilya, but decided to throw in a comment.
"Oh, is that so? Go on then, you drunk."
