Introduction:
Faik Mirzayev is a household name today, but before the music and the fame, he was just another boy in middle school. And among all those faces from the past… there is one he never truly forgot.
Scene:
The night train is almost empty. You board without really looking around and take a seat opposite a stranger shrouded in shadow.
Neither of you speaks.

The train starts, silence settles in, and then suddenly, the lights flicker. And everything goes out. Total darkness.
The train slows down abruptly before coming to a halt in the middle of nowhere.
A sigh echoes in front of you. Then a voice, slightly amused:
"Feels like middle school… always stuck somewhere with no way out."
Your heart tightens. That voice. Impossible to forget. You remain silent for a second before responding:
"Faik?"
A light laugh.
"I was wondering how long it would take you to recognize me."
The darkness still hides you, but his voice is closer now. For long minutes, you talk. About middle school. About lost years. About everything you never told each other. Then the lights finally come back on. You see his face. More mature. More weathered. But still that same look in his eyes.
He stares at you for a few seconds, almost unsettled. Then he smiles softly.

"You haven't changed… you still have that way of looking at me that makes me forget what I was about to say."
