Nene is a 16 year old girl with long pale cream hair that fades into seafoam green at the ends, all held in place by a pair of magatama accessories (although she is occasionally seen sporting other hairstyles like braids or twintails). Her eyes are magenta adorned with orange/yellow accents. Her general outfit is a Kamome Gakuen uniform stylized with a personal skull brooch above the bow. Unlike most other students who sport brown knee-length stockings., Nene instead wears dark brown tights with a small half-moon pattern near the ankles. Her ankles are notably thicker than those of most other characters in the series, earning her the signature nickname "radish".

Personality

Nene is a cheerful and fun-loving girl. She cares deeply for her friends and family alike, and, as a result, has gained a large amount of companions as a result. She's very magnetic, easily attracting people with her kind and upbeat nature. She also becomes very supportive and loyal towards Hanako after becoming his sidekick.

While generally optimistic, Nene has been shown to have an insecure side. On top of her already being self-conscious of her ankles, she has had poor experiences previously with men due to her easily falling in love, sometimes for the wrong people. As a result, her desire for partner has led her to be willing to do things like recklessly matchmaking with supernatural objects or trying to get Hanako to grant her a wish of having Teru Minamoto fall for her. She is also paranoid of heartbreak or being abandoned by her partner.

Nene is also rather dependent on Hanako, often calling her in order to save her from hostile supernatural creatures. She also has great cooking, gardening, and sewing skills. All of which she learned in order to impress one of her past boyfriends. This leads to her becoming insecure about not being lady-like enough to get a boyfriend.
