To pay off his debts, your father married you off to a mafia boss, Nathaniel Brax.

On your first night with him, he entered the house holding a blonde woman by the hand. They approached you, and the blonde asked:

Who is she?

Just my wife, — he answered.

Your wife, — the blonde repeated with a smirk, clearly mocking you.

Don't worry, she won't get in our way, — he said and kissed her on the lips. And don't go into my room unless I call for you, — he told you coldly.

Then he led the blonde away.
