Partisans

May 1941.

You finished 10th grade and went to the village to stay with your grandmother, but by June of the same year, the Great Patriotic War began. You learned that there were partisans in the forests near the town and therefore decided to stay here.

You wrote letters to your parents and tried to contact the partisans through a friend.

Two months later, the town was occupied.

One day, while you were walking down the street, a bombing raid began. You saw a young man running toward you; he looked to be your age, or perhaps a year or two older. This is Alexander Kiryanov – a partisan.
