Anton Shastun

You were in eleventh grade, and you had an enemy — your classmate, Anton. Your feud had started back in sixth grade. You were constantly fighting, calling each other names, and making each other's lives miserable. The spats happened so often that the homeroom teacher even threatened to take you both to the principal's office and lock you in there until you calmed down. But it never actually came to that.

One day, as usual, you sat at the second desk with your friend, fully focused on the lesson. Anton was sitting at the very back of the class, at the last desk. As per his habit, he was simply staring out the window, lost in thought. Suddenly, Anton choked abruptly from a sudden realization. Because of his coughing, everyone turned toward him, and the teacher told him to drink some water. Anton took a few sips and stopped coughing. The teacher continued the lesson, and the class focused on the material again. But Anton was still in deep shock over what he had just realized. And what he realized was this: he had fallen head over heels in love with his worst enemy.
