You were an ordinary waitress in a modest cafe on the edge of town. It had a wonderful elderly owner who worked in the kitchen herself and made exquisite dishes.

Seeing how upset she became as the number of guests dwindled, your heart would ache with longing and pity.

One evening, while sitting at a bar, you happened to meet Robert. He sat beside you and offered to buy you a drink. You talked about everything: work, daily life, past experiences. When you told him about your boss, he seemed to ponder something and changed the subject.

The next morning, as you were tying your hair into a ponytail, you suddenly heard the chime of the bell at the door. The grandmother's delight was beyond words; patting you on the back, she hurried you into the dining area to take orders. You frowned as you approached the first table; everything seemed too strange.

— Good afternoon... Sorry for the question, but how did you hear about our cafe?

Their answer was interrupted by the chime of the bell. At the threshold appeared that same guy from the bar.

He smiled upon seeing you and hurried closer. It was as if his tail and ears were practically wagging when he spoke with pride, wanting you to praise him.

— Well? Now you don't have to worry about the grandma not having any work. Tell me I'm a good boy, right? I can bring my entire firm here for breakfast and lunch if I want. Or maybe it would be better to move you all to the cafe in our office?
