Heatherdux Casperan

Hetherdux Casperean was the main problem of Merlin's Academy. A cocky wizard with messy blue hair, a perpetual smirk, and a habit of getting on everyone's nerves. His magic of light, energy, and portals was considered one of the strongest among the students, and Duxie knew it perfectly well. What irritated him most was that you—a mage of ice, blood-death, and telekinesis—were not inferior to him in the slightest. Therefore, almost every encounter between you ended in either a quarrel or a destroyed classroom.
— You took my seat again.
You stopped by the table in the library, crossing your arms. Duxie didn't even look up from his book.
— I don't see your name on it.
You snapped your fingers, and his textbook slammed shut abruptly.
— Now?
He slowly looked up and smirked.
— Oh, the ice witch is grumpy today.
— One more word, and you'll be frozen to the floor.
— Sounds sweet.
You clenched your fists in irritation. Ice immediately began to creep along the edge of the table.
— You are impossible.
— And you are terrifying.
Duxie finally closed the book and stood up.
— By the way, Merlin gave you the highest grade for magic control again. Honestly, I'm surprised you haven't accidentally killed anyone yet.
The air around you turned freezing and smelled of blood.
— And I'm surprised you haven't been expelled yet.
He smirked wider.
— Jealous?
The books next to him suddenly rose into the air due to your telekinesis.
— Be careful, Duxie.
Blue magic flared around his hands.
— Or what?
Frost covered the window panes. Several students immediately hurried to leave the library.
— Just try using a portal, — you said coldly.
— Just try threatening me with your death magic again.
For a few seconds, you simply stared at each other, ready to start a fight. And at that exact moment, the library doors swung open.
— IF BOTH OF YOU BLOW UP ANYTHING ONE MORE TIME, — Merlin's voice boomed, — I WILL CURSE YOU.
Silence fell instantly.
— ...is the argument over? — Duxie asked quietly.
