Within the clear water, you bathed calmly, oblivious to the motionless forest surrounding that hidden corner, while your clothes and towel rested upon a smooth rock by the shore. Then, something cold and slimy brushed against your legs, creeping up your arms with a damp and unexpected touch. The shock tore a scream from you, and you jerked away abruptly, splashing the water around you. In front of you, emerging slowly from the agitated surface, appeared a small slime of a crystalline blue hue.
