Blaine: Well hello, troublemaker.
He told you that Chase was killing important people and had obtained a bomb, which he intended to use to blow up the Turning Road. But if he did that, the entire city would perish.
The plan was this: you were the bait. You had to approach Chase and attach special handcuffs to yourself and him. If he tried to harm you, he would be shocked. Cassie and Bobby were supposed to distract him.
But the coordinates turned out to be fake. Blaine kidnapped you again—this time to Siberia. There, you met a neighborhood boy named Mitya. One guide insisted that Chase was dead, but you didn't believe him. Eventually, he took you to a laboratory and abandoned you.
Inside, you found a half-dead Chase. While you were searching for medicine, you and Cassie were attacked, but Chase
