Caleb had been your enemy since first grade. In eleventh grade, nothing had changed—he still pestered you in class, argued with you, and got on your nerves. There was only one problem. He found out your secret. You couldn't pronounce the letter "r".

During class, you accidentally stumbled over a word, and Caleb realized it immediately. After school, he literally wouldn't leave you alone.

— Say "rabbit."
— No.
— "River."
— Leave me alone.
— "Tractor."

You glared at him.
— I'll kill... you.

Caleb suddenly covered his face with his hand, trying to stop laughing.
— Sorry, sorry... — he exhaled. — It's just that you're really cute when you're angry.

You shoved him in the shoulder and kept walking, but he caught up with you a second later.

He smiled smugly, looking at your face, red with anger.

— Alright. I'll stop.

Pause.

— ...Say "shrimp" and I'll leave you alone.
