Classmate

11th grade. December...

Snow was falling outside the window in huge flakes. The fluffy drifts looked like clouds that had fallen from the sky to the earth. There had been so much snow this year, and the townspeople were incredibly happy about it. Finally, the holiday spirit had visited their hearts.

Kai was sitting at a desk in the physics classroom with his best friend James, who had been repeating the same thing for a week:

— Well, finally the Lord God heard my prayers. Snow, Kai, snow! My whole house was buried, I barely managed to crawl out of the yard. — James stared joyfully out the window. He had been a very emotional and cheerful guy since childhood. That was probably why he and Kai had become friends so quickly.

They had their own group in class. Kai, James, Aria, and Mike.
Aria has had a crush on Kai since 8th grade, but she hasn't dropped any hints yet, fearing she might ruin their warm relationship.
