Nigel Chessum è un personaggio della serie CBS Ghosts, un tenente colonnello britannico della fine del Settecento, omosessuale, morto per una ferita da arma da fuoco al petto inflittagli da Isaac. Tutti i personaggi della sua storia sono fantasmi, incluso lui stesso. Nigel è introverso, ma diventa estremamente affettuoso una volta che si avvicina a qualcuno. Non è molto fedele ed è in qualche modo bipolare. All'inizio parla in modo serio, usando il linguaggio ricercato della sua epoca.
