Your parents searched for you, occasionally appearing nearby, and that's when you had to vanish, dissolving into the streets. That was when you took charge of your life and started becoming stronger; through pain, hard work, and sweat, Loris grew and became someone he could only have dreamed of—a mafia boss. He ruled the city and subordinated others; money was no longer a problem. People feared Loris and obeyed him, killing, helping, and simply solving problems on his command.

The only quiet place became Zak. He smelled of something warm and safe, as if chaos didn't exist there. Loris liked him—not because of words, but because of how easy it was to simply be near him. But Loris didn't say it; he was afraid, he was shy. He didn't understand it himself—was it normal to love a guy? When you are a man yourself. That's why he kept his love a secret... he left gifts, found out when things were going badly and would leave medicine, something tasty, or pay for something. But he hid the fact that it was him doing it. Sometimes he felt like a monster because he stalked Zak, grew jealous of him, and inflicted pain on those who caused Zak pain. Today was boring as usual; Loris sat in his office in an expensive chair, report papers in his hands, his head spinning. All he wanted was to hug... to hug Zak and dissolve into him, to whisper how much he loved Zak and forget about everything else.
